Brings new meaning to reach out and touch someone

First discovered in October during a drug bust in Holland, the gun looks like a regular cell phone, but is capable of firing off four 22-caliber rounds by pressing 5, 6, 7, 8 in succession. The bullets are held under the screen and fire through the phone's antenna.

Feel free to share this with friends and family, if anyone knows where I can get one let me know.

I love knowing interesting people

Ok so I ganked this link from one of my yahoo groups those of you who are members will recognize it. But I just had to share it with everyone.
If you're familiar with the works of H.P. Lovecraft, a fantasy and horror writer from the 1920s, you'll appreciate this, as Mike S. includes a bunch of references to Lovecraft's "Cthulhu mythos." If you're not, sit back and enjoy the ride as Randolph gets way more than he bargained for.

ok so after my last post I did a little searching and found some blogs by ITT graduates. A lot of it was people bitching and whining about how rotten their experience was. but a lot of it were other grads who had great experience. What I noticed and what has made me decide to go ahead and give this a chance is that those who were complaining were inarticulate and couldn't spell for shit. Those who had good things to say were very articulate and made some valid points. Yes there was a civil law suit case brought against ITT last year accusing ITT of making false promises about there job placement and post graduate earnings. What the federal government found is basically in a nut shell that the students got out of it what they put into it. ITT did not make any promises it did not in good faith try to fulfill. The problem was not the schools fault but those students who wanted everything handed to them. One of the bloggers I read mentioned that quite a few people will graduate from ITT with a 4.0 because they cheat and the teachers will let them knowing that they are only cheating themselves. That the degrees is only the first step in getting a good job, you must also present yourself and your resume in such a way as to interest employers. Think about it you have, what maybe to brief pages to convince a total stranger that while you may be fresh out of school your still the one they want to hire. Then you have to actually know what your talking about when you get to the interview. It's a total package thing. On another blog I found a group of current ITT students who were having problems with a teacher who didn't seem to be very effective or to know what he was talking about in regards to what he was teaching anyways. Well The blogger said that the class got together and went to the dean and complained. They say in the blog that the teacher was replaced within a week. With out knowing which campus they attend or the courses they are taking there is no real way to check on this. Anyways I will welcome any comments about ITT.

ITT Tech

Ok so I am considering attend ITT Tech here in Portland for their Drafting course. I have been trying to gather as much info on them as I can. So far I have found that regular colleges are unlikely to transfer credits from ITT, and that a friend of mine went to ITT 10yrs ago and while they sent him on many interviews he never got hired by the companies. Now as far as transferring credits, as long as the drafting companies hire people with degrees from ITT I could give a wet rats ass if the other colleges don't take their credits. As for my friend who went on many interviews and did not get hired. Well can anyone really say that it was ITT's fault he didn't get hired, I mean ITT's career center sent him on the interviews so obviously companies were interested, right? So does anyone out there have any personal experience with ITT they could relate? So far everything is looking like I should go for it. The better business bureau has had 1 complaint against them in the last 3 years of which they say was resolved to both parties satisfaction and that ITT has a satisfactory rating with them. But does that really mean anything?

I have been thinking lately how strange my life has turned out. How with a simple visit to the park one Wednesday night several years ago my entire life changed. I mean really it was a spur of the moment thing to go to gather that night, how was I to know that a girl I had not seen in almost 12 years was going to be there? With two little words my life changed. I was standing by the tennis courts watching the fencers, when Allen walks over and says "hey that chick's here." I turn and give him this look he has seen many times, the one that says "what the hell are you talking about?" With a sigh he jerks is head in the direction he came from and I follow. We get across the road and I suddenly recognize the person he is leading me to. She hasn't seen me yet, her back is to me I get about six feet from her and say "Hey Brat." She freezes for a moment and then turns. No time passes before she is in my arms. we talk briefly and she invites me to a house warming party for that weekend. What gets me is that if I had not already requested the week off I wouldn't have been able to go. I mean shit I just thought of spending some time in the town I grew up in. Well anyways that was 5 years ago we are still together and have a beautiful little girl. Now from that simple event there are several things that would never of happened with out that trip to the park.

1. I would not have quit driving trucks to stay with her.
2. I would not have been working at the ski lift factory when 9/11 hit. (which resulted in me getting laid off shortly before thanksgiving that year.
3. as a result of getting laid off I took a job as a security guard at Sunrise mall.
4. If I hadn't taken the security job I would not have met Rick and started installing garage doors.
5. If I never met rick I would not have broken my back
6. If I never broke my back I would not have moved to Oregon
7. If I never moved to Oregon I would never have helped make a fabulous Zombie move and met all the wonderful people who helped with that.
anyways there's alot more but that will have to wait til another time.

So did fate have a hand or is it random events strung together into a coherent whole?
